InfoStrength and SCI Offer Training to Unemployed Professionals through TechEngage
Raleigh, NC - August 12, 2003 - InfoStrength, Inc. in collaboration with Strategic Compliance International, Inc. (SCI) offer training about FDA regulations, electronic records requirements and compliance best practices at the TechEngage Conference this week.
The training is offered by Rita Geiger, President/CEO of InfoStrength and Dr. Carmen M. Wagner, President/Founder of SCI. This training provides an overview of how computer technology is used in the lifescience industry, along with discussions on specific regulations governing the development of software for the pharmaceutical companies.
The TechEngage leading edge technology training classes are held all week from August 11-15, 2003 at the NCSU School of Management. The classes are available to all unemployed and underemployed technology professionals of the community. Ms. Geiger who has over 13 years of business expertise in medical, industrial automation and information technology industries explains: "the health industry is highly regulated and is perceived as a difficult industry to penetrate. Ms. Geiger has more than 13 years of regulatory, quality standards and operational procedures experience and has been a participant in numerous national and international committees to develop industry standards and requirements. She is a frequent speaker at FDAnews and universities, and co-author of many FDAnews articles.
Dr. Wagner who has more than twenty years of industry experience and has held a variety of quality related positions in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and vaccines added: "there is a great need for computer technology and computer validation expertise in the pharmaceutical industry..."
